This Fire is Forged, Not Found
Daughter of Fire wasn’t born in a boardroom.
It was born on the floor — on Bundjalung Country — in the thick, sweaty middle of burnout, grief, floodwater, rage, and the slow, stubborn choosing of myself again.
I’m Elise.
I work in the violence and neglect sector, so I spend my days in the deep end of humanity - the raw, the painful, the resilient. That kind of work cracks you open. It makes you realise what needs burning away… and what absolutely deserves to rise.
So no, I didn’t create this brand because I had life sorted.
I created it because I didn’t.
Because I needed a place where softness wasn’t weakness, where anger wasn’t shameful, and where rebuilding yourself wasn’t something you had to hide.
This brand is my way back to myself, but it’s also a home for women who aren’t afraid to name what hurts, laugh at the chaos, burn down old narratives, and rebuild something honest.
It’s for the ones who feel deeply and speak up anyway.
The ones who can hold softness in one hand and a boundary in the other.
The ones who make people uncomfortable simply by telling the truth - and refuse to apologise for it.
Daughter of Fire is not here to play nice.
It’s here to burn away the bullshit.
To normalise the hard conversations.
To remind you that softness and fury can coexist - beautifully.
